PERPETUAL VERSION 1 LICENSE
A perpetual license provides the customer with a continuing license to use the purchased version of Event AI Studio, subject to these Software License Terms.
Perpetual refers to the duration of the customer’s license. It does not mean or guarantee that the software, its features, technical support, third party services, or the technology required to operate the software will remain available indefinitely.
The customer receives a license to use Event AI Studio Version 1 on one licensed computer. The customer does not receive ownership of Event AI Studio, its source code, branding, intellectual property, systems, or technology.
ONE COMPUTER LICENSE
Each Event AI Studio license is valid for one computer.
A business using Event AI Studio on multiple computers must purchase a separate license for each computer.
The license may not be shared between computers, locations, related businesses, employees, contractors, or customers unless the applicable license plan specifically allows it.
Additional licenses may be purchased for additional computers.
TECHNOLOGY DEPENDENCIES
Event AI Studio depends on technology that may be provided or controlled by other companies.
This may include:
- Operating systems
- Computers and processors
- Graphics hardware
- Cameras and printers
- Hardware drivers
- Browsers
- Internet connections
- Artificial intelligence providers
- Application programming interfaces
- Cloud services
- Hosting providers
- Authentication services
- Payment systems
- Security standards
- Other outside technology
We do not control these outside technologies or the companies that provide them.
FUTURE TECHNOLOGY CHANGES
Technology changes over time.
An outside provider may discontinue a service, change an API, remove a feature, increase its prices, change security requirements, block certain uses, stop supporting older hardware, or stop supporting an older operating system.
A future operating system, computer, driver, AI provider, API, security rule, law, regulation, or other technology change may cause certain features or the entire application to stop functioning.
We may attempt to update Event AI Studio Version 1 when reasonably practical. However, we do not guarantee that every future technology change can or will be supported.
DISCONTINUED OR UNAVAILABLE TECHNOLOGY
If an important technology or service is discontinued, blocked, restricted, fundamentally changed, or made unavailable, Event AI Studio may lose certain functionality or may eventually become unable to operate.
If a technology change outside our reasonable control causes some or all of Event AI Studio Version 1 to stop working, become incompatible, or become impractical to maintain, this does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
A perpetual license means the customer’s license does not expire. It does not guarantee that the technology needed to operate the licensed software will remain available forever.
VERSION 1 UPDATES
All Event AI Studio Version 1 updates that we choose to release are included with the Version 1 perpetual license at no additional software license charge.
The purchase of a Version 1 perpetual license does not require us to continue developing, updating, repairing, hosting, supporting, or redesigning Version 1 indefinitely.
We do not guarantee that Version 1 will remain compatible with every future operating system, computer, device, hardware product, AI provider, API, browser, driver, or security requirement.
FUTURE MAJOR VERSIONS
Future major versions of Event AI Studio, including Version 2 and later versions, are separate products.
Future major versions are not included with a Version 1 perpetual license unless we specifically state otherwise in writing.
A customer is not required to upgrade to a future major version.
Existing Version 1 customers may be offered discounted upgrade pricing. The availability and amount of any upgrade discount may be determined when the future major version is released.
ACTIVATION AND LICENSE VERIFICATION
License activation, device registration, account access, or periodic license verification may be required to use some or all features of Event AI Studio.
A license may be limited to the computer on which it is activated.
Moving a license to another computer may require deactivation, approval, or assistance from Event AI Studio.
SUPPORT
Technical support is provided according to the support policy available at the time support is requested.
A perpetual license does not include a promise of perpetual technical support.
We may change, limit, replace, or discontinue support options for older software versions.
Any paid support plan should be treated separately from the software license.
NO GUARANTEE OF UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION
We do not guarantee that Event AI Studio will always be available, uninterrupted, error free, compatible with every system, or free from technical problems.
Temporary outages, maintenance, internet disruptions, provider outages, technology changes, and events outside our reasonable control may affect access or functionality.
REFUNDS AFTER LICENSE DELIVERY
Because a perpetual software license is delivered and activated for the customer, purchases are generally nonrefundable once the license has been activated, except where a refund is required by applicable law or specifically provided under our published refund policy.
Future technology changes, discontinued third party services, operating system changes, hardware changes, API changes, AI provider changes, or other compatibility issues that occur after purchase do not create an automatic right to a refund.
